How to Enter

Schools and student groups can submit nominations, photos, activities, campaigns, and examples of their work at any time throughout the year.

Submissions are reviewed monthly for monthly spotlight awards, and all nominations are also automatically considered for the end-of-year awards.

You don't need to run a large event to be recognised. Small actions, consistent effort, creative ideas, positive leadership, and meaningful impact all count.

Nominations for the 2026 end-of-year awards close on Friday 9 October, with winners announced by 31 October 2026.

Prizes and recognition

Good mahi deserves good rewards!

Monthly winners will score a SADD prize pack, official certificate, and a spotlight feature across our social media and newsletter so we can celebrate the awesome work happening in schools around Aotearoa.

Our end of year winners will receive an even bigger prize pack, exclusive recognition badges, a certificate, and major recognition across SADD’s website, newsletter, and social media channels. It’s our way of showcasing the students making a real impact in their communities..
