Kia ora koutou, welcome to our October newsletter! We have well and truly hit the downward slide into the summer and the end of the year, and what a year it has been! We love this time of year at Kaitiaki o Ara as it gives us an opportunity to start reflecting on all of the amazing things that have been achieved and also put our heads together and start planning even bigger and better things for the year to come! In this edition of the newsletter, you will see reflections from our recent National Leadership Programme events, some school activity, and a cool article about our interactive video. Also, we're sharing a new promo video that we created alongside Kiwiplates. We feel it captures our story perfectly so we encourage you to check it out. Many of our student members are heading into their end of year exams within the next few weeks as well as starting to wrap up the school year. We wish you all the best for your study and remind you to look after yourselves during this time - take breaks, get fresh air, and stay hydrated! Check in on your friends during this time too, it can be an overwhelming time of the year and sometimes just knowing someone is thinking of you can give the motivation and inspiration to keep at it.
